(no subject)
Overall, a peaceful day. We are kicking butt on our project, because we're working both 5 and 6 periods on minor layout details that's gonna make it awesome, and the other groups don't get such a ridiculous amount of in-class time. Oh, and Lily was like yelling at her group. Which made me reflect on how nice it is to finally be able to hang out with whom I want to in those classes and not have to worry about being careful around her. She's right, it really was for the best that we split up.
APWH was nice today too, did Doctor Woolen seem in a good mood or was it just me? I dunno, yesterday he was like "BLAH" and today he was all "Yay!"
Think I failed French Test today, and have a 91.1 on interim because of a missing homework assignment that's worth five points of the average. I'll have an A for the quarter, I bet, but still. I did the freaking assignment.
It's cold and overcast and drizzling which is probably my third favorite type of weather. My first would be warm, humid and breezy overcast. Second would be snow. Just snow. As long as there's no sun. And third is obviously this. So yeah, that was nice. It was like this all day :D
Starting "The Mosquito Coast" by Paul Thoureaux. Will have to see if I like it so I can recommend it to others if it's any good. I was thinking especially Hannah, because a lot of the reviews I read of the book described it as "Atlas Shrugged in a world that's not black and white" or something.
