FEEL THE LOVE,FEEL THE LOVE!
From the words of a popular song from Tina Turner, whats love got to do with it?In Gods view it has everything to do with it.Let me demonstrate biblically from the book of Matthew the 22nd chapter beginning at the 34th verse.
"hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadduccees,the pharisees got together.One of them,an expert in the law,tested him with this question:"Teacher,which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
Jesus replied:"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.This is the first and greatest commandment.And the second is like it ;love your neighbor as yourself.All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments."
WoW!!!Can you imagine the best of the religous leaders of Jesus day got together to try to find some fault in him,to test him if you will and Jesus response was not some long theological disatary but simply to love God and others however we find that in these two commandments we stumble every single day.
The apostle Paul put it this way as he wrote the book of Romans in the 8th chapter verses 8 through 10.
"Let no debt remain outstanding,except thecontinuing debt to love one another,for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.The commandments,"Do not commit adultry,""do not murder,""do not steal,""do not covet,"and whatever other commandments there may be,are summed up in this one rule;'Love your neighbor as yourself."Love does no harm to its neighbor.Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
So what does love have to do with it? "EVERYTHING!!!!!"
