Oops
So as you may or may not have notice I haven't fucking updated in forever. In order to fix this I decided to post all my creative writing assignments up to my live journal as a way to preserve them on something other than my hard drive. I am gonna tag them all as Creative Writing so you will know when you need or do not need to skip over them in horror. First one is this:
Summer Car Ride
Light breeze flows into the car
Tassels of brown hair flow over her face
And she brushes them back
Waving a hushed hand behind her ear.
Emerald eyes praise the driver
And small dimples curl around her mouth
As a laugh breaks free and runs;
Bouncing around the car.
Slender arms grab the driver;
Turn back, slow down, I need a better look
Innocent demands chase the giggles;
Don't turn here, I'm starving, where are we going?
An hour approaches its close
Lithe legs stretch along the dashboard
As a content yawn expands.
An afternoon nap reaches out for company.
Radio soothes the silence
With day melting into night
The driver looks over to admire
The tranquil woman riding shotgun.
