Okay, for real. Just got back from the new RPG game I've come to like and play with a small group of friends. Me and
x0g33k0x, if you didn't already know play triplets with
ultimaaa (who couldn't make it because she and
lismadrigal went home for winter break). So it was just my boy vampire named Xavier and her girl character named Lyria.
Xavier and Lyria are trying to get the fuck out of Dodge (which is what I'm referring to this fucked up town as) and about a mile away from the freeway on-ramp the truck we stole stalled and died. At this point we get out of the truck (our other sibling doesn't come to play this time so we're working as a duo) and see a warehouse down a dark alley. We hear music coming from it and see some neon lights and symbols that signify that the place is a nightclub/semi-haven.
We go in and want to see the owner of the establishment... Oh and if you've seen either Blade 2 or the Matrix 2 it's kinda like those types of rave parties. Anyway, I go up to the barkeep and ask if he knows where we can find the owner of the place. He in turn asks me for my poison. I say blood and vodka. He glares at me like I pissed him off (and I probably did for one reason or another) and sets two drinks down, one for Xavier and one for Lyria. Seeing that things having been going so well, so far I'm suspicious of the drink but I find it to be a normal cocktail. Taking off my ripped and bloody jacket and shirt I lounge at the bar, brooding...sulking...pouting... Up until some handsome vampire comes up and asks us what we want.
Lyria takes over the taking for most of this part. I'm half listening still with my ear and our telepathic link. She gets the offer to go and meet the boss of the place but when she motions for me to follow the guy is all like, "Only one." I being the overprotective brother I am reply, "Both or no deal." The guy shrugs and almost walks away before Xavier gets a lashing from Lyria saying that he should stop being an ass and she could take care of herself. Xavier calls him back and is like, "Fine." But I still keep the link between us open. After his sister leaves, Xavier gets approached by another vampire and when Xavier asks, "What's up?" He gets this lovely reply, "Shits is going to go down."
The guy then leaves Xavier noticing a his hand is bloody an clawed and then he gets the feeling he's being watched. And of course it's the club's skank. Something about her spike's Xavier's interest. Not in a sexual way, but he just had a feeling he should talk to her. So he swaggers over (yes, I said swagger) and flirts a bit, asks if he can buy her a drink. In turn she offers to buy him the drink instead, but I convince her to allow me to buy the drink. She smirking at this point I'm thinking, "So does this make you a macho man?"
He replies (for serious, my friend Jose and I came up with this), "Not a macho man, but a gentleman." Then I notice her eyes shift for the briefest of seconds. I'm suspicious, but I play it cool (finally). At this point Lyria is talking to the boss and if her player decides to post that convo that'll give you the details. We talk and I feel Lyria coming back, I make to excuse myself but the she-vampire doesn't want me to leave. She tries to entice Xavier by rubbing on his leg, but Xavier just removes her hand and kisses the knuckles all suave like before trying to slink off smoothly. Still, she doesn't like this and points a gun at my rib and offers for her to kill me outside or kill me inside. Xavier knowing he had a better chance surviving on the inside, where his sister could eventually help, leans down and says, "Let's dance," before getting shot in the ribs.
Long bar scene shot, I managed to do this FAIL and flop over the bar after I miss shooting the bitch that just shot me. She's shooting, I'm ducking and eventually she tries to jump up on the bar and shoot down at me, but she does an EPIC FAIL and slips and flops on the bar dropping the gun she was shotting at me with. Xavier picks it up and shoots her in the head. Her friends go nuts Xavier throws a bomb and blows someone up. So I managed to kill two people. The other vampire suddenly shows up and tells us to follow him and him being the one that told me shit was going down I follow along with Lyria.
Let it be known... Xavier has little to no luck on his own two feet. He's clumsey as fuck. However, his saving grace is he can drive like the baddest badass you know. He managed drive two cars, one they had to steal b/c the people chasing shot out a tire. If I wasn't concentrating on controling the car, I would have been shotting too. So it was an epic chase scene ending in the car we stole exploding when a grenade was thrown in. I think combined with the Vampire who was helping us, we killed 15 things at most.
We ended up in a weapon's storage from our deceased master (we killed the bastard and may angels piss on his grave). Xavier got 2 new Colt .45 along with the one he had before. One on a holster near his chest and one strapped to his leg and the last on on his hip. Lyria got two swords and Kanza (
ultimaaa character) got 24 new throwing draggers...
I also gained 5 EXP b/c of my driving. Sweet.
So tried now though...Zzzz
