Welcome to my feeble attempt to get an online game going. Here are the rules!
You are all members of the SGC! A Goa'uld has infiltrated the SGC and the base is currently under lock down. The Goa'uld is attempting to gain access to the base computers by either turning other SGC members into Goa'uld (he/she has more symbiotes with them, or can produce them), or kill the member while extracting information. You as elite members of the US Air Force must find and capture this threat, or die trying.
One player is randomly chosen to be the Goa'uld.
One player is randomly chosen to be the Science Officer.
All other players are SGC Team Members.
Each night as the base sleeps the Goa'uld will attempt to control or kill another player. This will be done in a hidden post directly to the game moderator for that round. The Science Officer gets to examine one member as well, in order to determine who is a Goa'uld, again using a hidden post so everyone doesnt know. In the morning, either a member has been killed or turned, and you will be told this. You must then decide who to "detain", in whatever fashion you desire (yelling, screaming, just being annoying and yelling Huzzah!). Killed and Arrested players are out for the given game (But feel free to annoy other players as Ascended players, but you may not give hints as to any actual game play.)
Winners are players that are still alive and "undetained" at the end of the game. The game ends when all the Goa'uld are detained, or the number of SGC members is equal to the number of Goa'uld. If this occurs, the Goa'uld overrun the base, they win!
The moderator determines if a Goa'uld turns or kills a player by rolling a D6. On a 5+ (5 or higher for you lamers), the player is turned into a Goa'uld as well. They should be informed of this quietly as well as the other Goa'uld players, as they know can work together. On a 4 or less, they are killed, and becoming annoying/ed spirits.
So, lets get this game going. First I need players to respond saying they want to play. Once I have about 8 or so people, I will start the first game and you will find out what you are.
