Do you still have every other weekend off? The semester's just about finished, so you can expect a visit in the near future.

sweet... My next weekend off is May 5th and 6th, but I worked things around and will also have the 4th off... I'm hoping by that point I'm at least in the process of changing my employment but as things are going I doubt my goal will be attained in the time frame I desire. P.S. I'm practically going out of my mind with boredom at F&F... I think I need to do some extensive plumbing so I can kill enough brain cells so I can think like management. From my recent adventures in seeking employment: I can't understate how many different places a well-played-off business degree will get you into. For instance, the American Library Association had need of a lot of management material (learned this at a recent job fair). My advice is to pimp yourself out to as many places as possible and hope for a bite (this includes questionably useful sites like monster.com).

Sorry to hear your job blows. I'd be going fucking nuts too. We miss you down here in Bloomington.

create an alternate email for "the big three" (monster, carreerbuilder, hotjobs). I get at least 5 to 10 spam a day, plus 2 or three largly useless "legitimate" hits. careerbuilder also seems to think i really need to be a manual laborer. yes, me -- with the chunk of plastic velcroed to my arm because it hurts to WRITE TOO MUCH. Here, let me haul cement blocks for 12 hours a day. that's perfect, thank you careerbuilder.

you might do better trucking to real live job fairs. >_>;
