You know, it has to be an irony that my mun prides herself on not being a squeeing fangirl (except when it comes to mathia's art) but she proves herself wrong when she goes and does something so patently fangirlish as giving me an icon for a band she got roped into (willingly mind you!) being a fan of by two of her fellow muns ( Read more... )

Just like my mun used Perttu for my icons...*rolls eyes* of course it could be that my mun is in love with the boy wonder of cellos.

Well you know who is to blame, ultimately, for my mun! *Winks*

I am sorry, but I believe we have not been formally introduced. I am Gwriy.

It is a pleasure to meet you Manwe. Imladris is such a different city compaired to Edoras, where I grew up.

It would be, no doubt. AS different I supose as Elves are to Men.

How are you coping so far?

Being here, life in general, getting to know your father.

*pales* Word travels fast around here, doesn't it. I am...handling it as best as I can. I knew I was different when everyone around me aged, and I did not. Finding out that your father was the prince of Mirkwood was quite a shock, and then finding out I could live forever...I don't want to think about that.

Well... word does travel quickly enough but I heard it more because I've been spending time with Elrohir - Elladan's brother.

It does sound quite allot to take in but it is all a matter of listening to your heart, in the end.

Just give yourself time, you don't have to make you choice right this minute.
You have lived with humans, now you have a chance to get to know elves. When you understand both sides you will be in a better position to choose which is more your place in the world.

I guess I have plenty of time to decide. Lord Elrond said that Elladan and Elrohir lived throusands of years without making the choice.

That much is true enough, though I do not think you have quite that long, the elves who intend to leave these shores for the Utmost West will do so in not too much time, I would say the last ships to leave Middle-earth will sail in not much over a hundred years. Anyone who remains of the Firstborn after that are likely not to sail at all.

Though even so, you could very well choose an elven fate yet not sail youself, so the whole issue has numerous options to it.
