No, I did not plan on standing Jules up.
Am I pissed about the way things happened? Yes.
Here is what happened.
6:00pm - Chris gets home from work.
6:30pm - Frank says "Going round to Craig's very quickly, will head back round and then we'll head to Jules' place".
7:30pm - Chris starts getting concerned.
8:00 pm - first call to say "Where the hell are you, Frank?". Phone is switched off.
9:00 pm - second call to say pretty much the same as above. Phone is still off.
10:30pm - Frank arrives home, having fallen asleep at Craig's. I tell Frank calling Jules tomorrow (which is now today) to apologise would probably be an exceptional idea.
I am exceptionally sorry, as I said over sms about the way things went down. I even checked with Kurtis whether he had a car so something could be done in that regard. Unfortunately, his red box of doom is torched.
Ultimately, all I can do is apologise. It was by no means deliberate, nor was it a deliberate abandonment - nor was it cool.
