Man, today had to be one of the most relaxing Sunday's I've ever had. I had a great talk with a couple of friends from church and today I've completely outdone all my previous cooking skills.
Cooked Salmon for the first time in my life, and it came out better than the chicken breasts I was given, I consider it an improvement since I always cook beef or poultry, so this is a step up. Anyways, got most of the house clean, and after the little meeting tomorrow, I'll be back at it.
Got 2 new games, Gunstar Super Heroes for GBA and SSX On Tour for Xbox. Yeah, I know some people will be looking at me saying; "Why are you supporting EA?" But you know what? I really couldn't give a crap. The only game series from EA that I like is SSX. I have a natural likeness for Snowboarding (I just find it cool) and some of the music they throw in is really good, and it fits the scenario. Have to admit that at first.... I didn't think EA would be able to top SSX 3... But I do admit, that I'm wrong. SSX On Tour is bigger and better. I'm seeing either new or old characters showing up on the slopes again, but what really gets me about this game is the races. They've expanded so much since 3 that pretty much reminds me of JSR and JSRF's comparison. It's just that damn good. Once I have the house clean I'll be playing some more of SSXOT whilst trying to finish off God of War and Resi 4 (Garrett and Gus's VG homework) and after those two IGPX.
Gunstar Super Heroes is the one type action game that we haven't seen since Genesis. And that's really a shame. It's simple, but fun. Pretty much what games are not anymore. Don't get me wrong, I like a good action packed game and what not, but looking at GSH, and actually playing through it (It's hard) you're having a good time, and to top it off, it's refreshing to come back to what good games USED to be like back in the early 90's. But of course, SEGA made this. SEGA and Nintendo are both the 2 most versatile game companies that I know of. So that doesn't shock me.
Wisdom teeth getting pulled 5 days before Christmas... Here's to another new year....
