Everytime I play Tekken 5.... I keep getting more and more anxious for 6.
Here are somethings I hope Namco decides on for The King of the Iron Fist part 6... There's not too much, considering I've studied SC WAY more than I have Tekken.)
- Lee's Revolution Zwei gets a little tweak, so he can aim it.
Zwei (High)
Silver Whip (Med)
Silver Tail (Low) after the punch startup. It would make him a more tricky character to deal with.
And his Mist Step combo: X, O,O (I think). They need to change the airtime that characters recieve when the first kick lands. because either the final or both of the last two kicks, miss frequently unless you're doing an air combo, I would assume.
- New characters other than Lili and Dragonov and Armor King (even though he's supposedly dead).
- More costumes (maybe 4 for each).
- NO Jinpachi-like OR cheap-ass bosses for the ending.
Character Progress:
Steve Fox:
-Well, I need to learn to mix things up a bit with Steve. I'm relying too much on the one-two -> British Edge combo, then the follow ups that come after. I leave my low section open way too much. And it gets irritating when I fight characters like Christie and Julia Chang. Low's are ALL I get hit by. I need to find a way to work the "Endless Roll" and "Gatling Gun" into some combos (if possible). And some air combos won't be bad either. I'm practicing his special parry. I got that down, but I think I'm moving too slow on the response. Jin was able to block it too many times.
Lee Chaolan:
Not too much left to learn here. I need to get better acquainted with Lee's OTHER kick combos (infinites, etc.), and I need to lay off Revolution Zwei's finish a bit. I use it too much, and I absolutely LOVE how many kicks can cancel right into "Hitman". Also, I'm wondering if there's any way I can link "Acid Storm" into a combo.
Once I'm done perfecting my techniques with Steve and Lee, I'll move onto;
- Ling Xiaoyu
- Feng Wei (although I don't really like him, I think I'll just give him a shot).
- Hwoarang
- Jin (I always felt that I should give Jin a good tryout. Besides he's a solid character).
- Lei Wulong (I KNOW if I master him, I'm gonna give people a hard time ^_________^).
- Lili (IF I had Tekken DR. But why buy a PSP and use MORE money when I'm inevitably going to get PS3 down the road anyway?)
