The world needs more of Felica Day... Can you place her in this trailer?
Last night, we played Arkham Horror, and we broke out some awesome. First off, there was the arrival of 'Ashcan' Pete, who started out jumping his motorcycle off the deck of a passing barge onto the Riverside Docks (his trusty dog Duke hanging from the handlebars, catching the breeze) and then raced through the streets of Arkham to the Woods to meet up with Dr Vincent Lee (who'd FINALLY managed to get one over that damn Sheldon Gang). It is maintained that Pete didn't even slow down as Dr Lee tossed him the .42 rifle, and that his trip through the Portal to Another Dimension was entirely intentional, a valiant charge on his iron horse. He then escaped the alien world by using a spell, inscribed on an ancient tablet given to him by a strange gypsy women many years beforehand, to find the same portal he rode through and then closed up it behind him with raw manliness.
Then there is the Saga of Bob Jenkins, travelling salesman and monster slayer, who bravely battled Star Spawn, ghouls and the foul Bloated Woman (one of the five secret Faces of Nyarlohotep), armed with a pistol and an enchanted sword. I've never seen so many monster trophies in all my time owning the game.
And let us not forget Mandy Thompson, brave researcher, who faced untold horror by venturing through two different portals, all in order to emerge from the other side and use her erudite gleanings to seal them shut for all eternity.
Now if only we could actually FINISH a game :(
