A lot has happened over the last few weeks since I posted anything.
One of the major things is, that I've been trying to avoid wasting my time on the internet... sadly although I have achieved this to some degree, I've just been wasting my time even more in other ways. One of those ways (although exceptionally fun), is playing Rock Band, which I recently purchased. It is an exceptionally fun game, and considering I know the majority of the music on it, it actually makes it quite a bit more fun.
There is a problem with playing Rockband, it takes up a lot of my time... time that I could be using to write up information for the game I'm going to be creating in my course this year, or equally time that I could be spending learning to play *cough* real guitar *cough*. The good thing is, playing rock band has inspired me to actually learn how to play my guitar properly, since I've had a pretty good fender guitar for a good 3 years... but haven't bothered to learn it.
Anyway in other news, I have been accepted in the Bachelor of Arts (Honours): Computer Mediated Art and Multimedia course (damn such a ridiculously long name). I actually just went and enrolled for it on Wednesday... which was a task in itself, but a story for another day. So yeah, I'm looking forwards to the fact that I get to work full time on a project I want to work on (specifically an episodic game based in my Nartherael Mythos). I'm certainly hoping that this will be a great learning experience for me and considering all honours students gets a mentor to help them out, I'm pretty sure I can actually succeed in making a project that I can finally be proud of.
In other news, Fairyland has shipped the Feeple Cali, and hopefully Louise and I will have her before next Wednesday, although who knows. If we do get her then, we're hoping to have a mini doll meet at my place, and maybe even play some rock band if people get sick of taking photos/photostories of the dolls... or I could just invite people over to play rock band I guess, It's up to what people want to do.
