That's a nod to CN's firmly held conviction that lembas=pop tarts. I am just as firm in my feeling that they are magic matzohs, but pop tarts are funnier. (And easier to spell.) *grin*

But would they survive the harsh travel conditions you'd face on your journey? Wouldn't you get jam all over your mallorn leaves when the crackers snap?

I'm tempted to propose a lembas sampler plate, where we have any number of lembas approximations wrapped up in banana leaves and then people can sample them all and decide which best fits the bill. It could be neat if we did them about the same size and shape (say, the size of a pb&j on a ritz cracker) and wrapped them identically so that folks wouldn't know which interpretation of lembas they were actually going to eat. Like a candy sampler!
