The house is relatively clean, President's Day is in there, too. Vacation time has accrued, so let's go.

I could probably go for President's Day, though I may be burnt out - a friend is planning a Star Wars marathon for early February (I tried to convince him to do the full Lord of the Wars, but he said that would be mixing two good things that should not be mixed, like chocolate-covered ice spaghetti).

President's Day weekend is no good on account of Estrella.

MLK weekend isn't any good either, on account of that it is this coming weekend and I already have plans involving me being up and out for far longer than I probably should be.

How about a non-holiday weekend? Or is it really going to take more than 48 hours to do this?

Nailing one Master Markerson down to a particular date is the time consuming protion of this detail. Once I got him inked in, we'll motor from there.

The thing is, I am stubbornly and steadfastly refusing to do this without him attached. It was his idea, after all.

I was a bit surprised, if not irked, that the first LOTR happened without the three of us, since we were (if memory serves) the ones who were on board with this idea since its inception. Here's hoping we can avoid that again.

Also, my vote is for non-Special Edition original trilogy.
