A second update...
1) Keyhole surgery is the way forward - three small incisions is a lot less painful and debilitating than one long one.
2) The statement - 'You'll feel like you've been kicked in the stomach for a few days.' while not entirely accurate isn't far off.
3) Not sure when I'm returning - maybe tomorrow - though if I do I'm not going to the pub - that would be too far. If I am returning tomorrow (stomach permitting) I'll have to take it very carefully.
4) Is anything happening Saturday?
5) Went for a short little walk earlier (to the end of the road), its not thats its painful, just that I have to concentrate on otherwise subconscious things, this makes it very tiring.
6) Already feeling so much better than yesterday.
