I'm giving up
i'm shutting down
now that no one is around.

I knew it would
my friends did fail
they fell away or have all set sail.

These months ahead
will just be hell
sitting at home in my wooden cell.

There out tonight
they left me here
I sit alone while they drink beer.

The music is loud
their ears are ringing
but after tonight i don't feel like singing.
