This quiet seems to be quite the blessing.

I would like if we met in the courtyard. All of us, in fact. I would like to put a mild test on.

Also, Riqis, could you perhaps help me solve this puzzle?

Oh...more training?

What kind of puzzle is it?

It would only be a simple excerise; just one I would like you all to take part in.

And the puzzle would be a simple logic puzzle; nothing too difficult.

Oh. Sure then. You want me there now?

You don't need to make it easy.

Half an hour, if you can.

The puzzle is as follows:

Mice are known for their terribly fast breeding rates. A female can produce a litter of up to twelve in a month. Now, let's say that the female mouse will always give birth to twelve mice. Two months later, each of those twelve is mature and able to give birth, and do so every month.

You start with one baby mouse. How many mice will you have in ten months time?

How long do mice live for? And how many of the babies in every litter are girls?

We will say that these mice live for a year, and that all in the litters are female.

Then...how do the mice...

Are they experimented on or something?

Lad, let me give you a hint:

You are overcomplicating matters.

Then how do you get any more mice from that? Without using data or something!

Riqis.

[No nonsense tone.

Do you think you have solved the puzzle?

It's not even a puzzle! There can't be any!

I see that I must train you to be less literal at all times. It is a good mindset to have, but that inflexibility can be used against you.

So your answer is 'none'?

Well of course. You can't expect a little baby mouse to survive all on it's own.

Generally, when people buy a pet, they tend to look after it. The answer is 'one'.

Riqis, I do not mean this condescendingly, but do you know what a hypothetical question is?
