A time for Tea.

Hong escorted the lady through the hidden portal in the garden, right next to the koi pond. Smiling gently, he took her through a couple of the more secluded areas in the Palace, coming to a tearoom that hadn't been seen by anyone save the cleaning servant in months, and stopped.

Ali looks around with wide-eyed wonder, delighted by everything she sees. "Oh, it's so beautiful here! It's like something in a fairy tale."

Smiling smoothly, Hong enjoyed her obvious attraction to the place. "The Palace was carefully made with beauty in mind. Admittedly, we're in one of the older parts at the moment; I find the tranquility to be found here is quite lasting."

He slid open the door to the anteroom, where a selection of appropriately formal kimonos were folded. "Tea requires the traditional garb in this area, Lady. If you would find one to your liking and change, we should be able to continue.." Picking out his preferred kimono, hakama, and obi, he moved to the open doorway. "I'll just give you a moment of privacy."

She smiles softly, taking a moment to remove her sandals before moving inside. "Will there be someone to help me tie the obi? I'd hate to look like a woman of negotiable virtue."

"... I'll be sure to handle it as soon as I change, myself." He keeps his facade of composure and steps out, moving to the room across the way to get into his own formal attire.

Picking up a pair of tabi for her, he came back and scratched politely at the paper of the door.
