They were HUNTING dogs! So yes, they are trained to be violent and brutal. If they had jumped the fence and started prowling the streets looking for prey and they did maul someone, put them down I say, and slap a fine on the owner for not being responsible with his pets. I feel sorry for the creatures in this case because they were safely where they were supposed to be - in their owner's back yard.

Reminds me of the stupid case in England (?) a while back when a burglar hurt himself in the victim's house and sued the victim for negligence. WTF?

There was one in the US. o.o He was going to steal the hub of someone's car, and then car moved and he got his hand hurt. And he sued. AND won.

Yeah. The one who won the stupidest award thing was the dude who... I forgot what you call those huge vans that you can live on. RV? Anyway, he left it moving while he went off to the bathroom. Of course the thing crashed. He sued that the car company didn't put any warning in the manual, and he won more than a million dollars.

So the company now has "Do not leave unattended" warnings in the manual. >_>
