as christmas has been so far

So, as it has been so far, Midnight Mass was great. I got Paul to go along(oh yeah, imagine Paul at church) We were followed into the church by a cop who after we parked and started walking towards the church he kept driving then turned around. But yeah in the church I saw Scott, his brother, his dad read haha, TJ was an altar boy, Jack (Attack) was a eucharistic dude. Mass was an hour and 20 minutes good time for Midnight Mass. As well, I had money out to give to the church but the guy who was taking up the money looked at us and just kept walking, so I felt discriminated against in my own church. But, after Church I decided, hey, christmas I'm taking Paul and myself out to Waffle House.

We get there and walk in and order a plate of hashbrowns all the way except for chili and tomatoes, and the all star meal with two cups of coffee. As we're just about done eating ANOTHER cop shows up and drives Cost 14.15, left a 85 cent tip cuz I gave the last dollar I had to this poor lady who came all the way from North Carolina to end up stranded in Homewood, miles away from her goal of Montgomery. She couldn't find a place to cash a 15 dollar check or take the check for gas, she comes in and takes a cup of water cuz that's all she can get. I felt so bad for her, christmas and she couldn't be with her family, stranded in a random town miles away from people she knows. I gave her the last dollar I had, the dollar that the guy from my church decided not to take from me and my brother, the dollar that I've decided God wanted me to give to that woman that I was going see to help her out just by a little.

Christmas doesn't have to be about giving extordinary gifts that cost hundreds of dollars, Christmas is about giving and helping those that need help. I have been a recipiant of this help from the Nueberger family, and I know I can not repay them now, maybe never, but I can continue to help out others. I don't know how far that one dollar I gave that woman will go for her, but I hope it can do something...anything for her. I hope all of you can remember the wonderful birth that has happened on this day, years and years and years ago in the form of little baby Jesus(6 lb 8oz) and the miracles he has done, and what he died for.
