When I heard Mark Harmon was doing Superman, I was a little skeptical, but looking at the trailer he's not half bad. Certainly there have been worse dub jobs for the Man Of Steel.
I think I've came across Owlman just once in my comic reading, and it was either so brief or so long ago I don't remember much about him.
BTW, L_D, who was giving you grief in that last post? Had something to do with that Uruk-Hai icon? What happened to the holiday spirit?

Eh it was no biggie. She was correct in her request (I was at fault) and I responded accordingly. Just something to move on from.
Owlman is someone I've seen several times in the universal crossovers. I think the planet the Crime Syndicate came from was referred to as Earth-3 in the times before Crisis on Infinite Earths was published in the 80's. The CS were often a formidable problem to the Justice Society (on Earth-2 I think) and The Justice League (Earth-1). I think after Crisis on IE, there was the single shot GN wheere the CS were brought back in some way called "Earth-2".
There was this one other character who I recall stirring up trouble for all three groups named Per Degaton. It'd have been a kick to see him in this vid now that I think about it...
LOL at the anime industry story. That's really the same story that's been told for decades. The Simpsons made a joke about it once, except it wasn't a joke.
It always makes me chuckle a little when some folks, having just discovered a new favorite anime, announce that they want to get in the biz, which in their minds invariably involves either drawing anime or doing voice work.
Both of those being SUCH good paying jobs. Not. Not in Japan and not in the US.
There isn't enough said about animators barely surviving and voice actors working two or three real jobs to get by. The fans don't care about that, but they do manage to care when the latest torrent link is a day or two late.
I find it ironic that the people making anime work long hours for pennies and the fansubbers work similar long hours for free. All the while the audience A) doesn't appreciate the work, and B) wants their jobs.
