An old man said to me the other day “God Be Praised for he gives us life”
I told him I didn’t believe in god
“Be Careful” he said. “Just because you don’t believe in god, doesn’t mean that he doesn’t believe in us”
And to him I said: “While that may be true, I would think that he only believes in us as half as much as we believe in him. Life is a little more assumption and a little less divine prophecy, and usually, it will get the better of both of us. “
