Sometimes it's really simple things that make me happy. For instance, for Halloween we hung a Scooby Doo plush toy from a noose in our kitchen. It has remained there along with our other Halloween decorations. It's not so much laziness as the fact they look nice. Ok, maybe there's some laziness too.
The hanging Scooby plush originally provided a great deal of fun as a punching bag, but then in a drunken wave of destruction (not by me, I only pretend I'm going to break things when I'm drunk) his tail was torn off and the little foam balls inside of him started to spill out whenever he was hit especially hard. However, something has been salvaged out of the whole ordeal. Now it seems that every couple of days, a new small random object is being placed inside Scooby's butt, residing in the hole where his tail has vacated. It's quite impressive how much happiness I get out of seeing a Queen from a chess set or a yellow highlighter sticking out of Scooby Doo's butt. It makes me wonder what will be in there next, and how long I will continue to laugh at it.
