(no subject)
So, One Wedding, 4 GoTaku, 1 MORE stupid nickname, and an assload of craziness later....PJ and Corinne are now Mr. and Mrs. PJ Simmers. w007! The wedding was small, it was cool. Having to wear the tux, that Did suck though. Maybe I looked suave and debonair, then again, probably not. The reception was full of much craziness, Dan and Leonard having a crazy eat off, Leonard looking like the damn Kingpin and chasing after Dan T-1000 style....then Dan's fatal mistake of admiting his thing for Corinne's Sister. We felt that as his friends, we should step in and get these two kids together. After some not so MGS type tactics and espionage, the man walked away with two kisses on the cheek and one given to her.
After the reception, I had to score a ride from some relative or another of PJs back to his parents. There, Mr. and Mrs. Simmers opened their wedding gifts as I, Harold(The best man)& his girlfriend, and Katy(A bridesmaid) all watched with the same look of exhaustion on our faces. We all probably would have crashed were it not for the Coke that we had. Harold and his girl left to get some food, and I was left alone on the couch with Katy while PJ and Corinne changed out of the wedding attire(Which I had done not even a second after arriving back at PJ's Parents.)
Ya know when you are trying to say something smart, or witty? But you cant seem to say anything at all? Yeah....thats how I felt everytime I tried to talk to her, except when making fun of her liking of France, but thats different. I recived plenty of teasing about how I should make a move on her, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Stupidity, its one of my strong points....
Anyways, afet the presents, we head back to Casa de GoTaku to get ready for all the people to come over. I again am left alone with Katy while PJ and Corinne assumedly hop upstairs to consumate the marriage. Again, I couldn't say anything. So we sat in silence. People trickled in, a good time was had by all. Dan refered to himself as "The Experience" while quasi bitching about how he wasn't good enough for Hailey(Corinne's sister) before she showed up. He also refered to his johnson as "Dr. Longswallow" during his rant. We all about died at that point, and now Dan will forever be refered to as "Dan Howard, The Experience". I crashed on the floor next to table cause Leonard crashed on the couch and I had already offered Katy my "bed"(pile of pillows on the floor of my room) cause she had wanted to go to sleep earlier but we were on the couch.
After dropping Katy off at the airport, we booted around town for a bit before I had to go to work. Inventory. 7pm - 6AM. Counting Games, Controllers, Gift Cards. THINGS OF CANDY!!! I nearly went nuts during that. But it ended, and I was allowed to sleep, so it was all good in the end.
Leonard chilled with us till Tuesday night, and Dan and Trigger came down to hang out with us. We had a big LARP meeting, got a story and the sort straightend out. It was cool. The rest of the week was pretty much normal,cept for the lack of Internet. That was Super Sucktastic. But I'm back now, so It's all good.
