I've been working on the railroad, all the live long day..

For the past couple of days I've been working for Alex's uncle Jeff set up the foundation for a gazebo. It was really hard the first day because we had to drill holes with an auger and then use post-hole diggers to remove the soil and clay.

The second day we drilled 6x6's, and 4x4's and hammered in re-bar, then dropped the posts into the holes we dug.

Today we had a cement truck come in and we wheelbarrowed the cement to the holes with posts in them, and flattened out the tops.

But unfortunately I don't think Jeff will be asking me to come back to this job, because from now on it's carpentry work, and I'm anything but a carpenter. (I learned that years ago from my step-dad)

But, I was making $8 an hour, so when paytime comes I'll be straight for a while.

I think things are going well with this girl I'm interested in. I mean...I like her a lot..she likes me a lot...all is well.

Seems I've come to a somewhat stable situation, for the time being.
