Been a while since I was last on here.....
Quick sum up of my last 4 years.
Dated randomly (2006), met a girl(2007), had a child with her(2008/2009), in the process separated(2009), being better friends than partners, and now share custody of our 18 month old daughter named Khamiel(2010).
Was accpeted into the RCMP(2008), due to baby had to quit, then got accpeted into the BC Sheriff's program(2008), then had funding cut by Government due to recession, so I lost that job. Went back to University, and moved to Surrey(2009) where I sold Guns and worked as a Fishing expert while negotiating child custody. In December (2009) I decided to move back to Victoria, and get a Career going, cause as a 26 year old retail employee trying to pay Child support and have a life, the low-income work force just isn't appealing.
January(2010) I applied to the Canadian Navy, with previous service Jobs with RCMP and Sheriff's (acceptance, not work) backing my Resume, they snapped at me like Alligators at feeding time. As of three weeks ago, I was formally offered employment as a Naval Electronic Sensor Operator (NESOP). Thankfully the work is here in Victoria, and I'll be allowed to stay here as long as I desire. As I'm 3rd Generation Island born and bred, I hope thats forever, cause I love Victoria, its people, and energy.
I get shipped to Montreal (Saint-Jean Richilieu actually) on November 29th of this year for my Basic Training. Thankfully this is only 3 months long, so though I'll miss Christmas, I'll be back in time for the Spring Bear, and Summer fun. I'll then spend the next 2 years in CFB Esquimalt training in my job, and then be posted to CFB Esquimalt to spend my Career. Awesome pay, awesome travel, awesome benefits, awesome Pension, awesome its in Victoria. Bogus saying "Yes- sir," and bogus perfomring minor irratible tasks, but all jobs have their ups and downs. As far as I'm concerned, having the wherewithal to be a home owner in Victoria, and hopefully find someone to share it with, is good enough for me.
I'm a lover of Forests, mountains, and the Sea. I love camping, fishing, hunting, Yoga, and anything that invigorates my body, and stimulates my mind. I'm a musician, poet, and martial artist. I teach Yoga, Reiki, and love to explore new things. I cave, climb, and love gardening. Beach fires, bongo drums, and Hornby Island is where I find parts of my soul. I don't use drugs, and prefer to paint or create over melt my brain, and watch TV. I love writing, reading and witnessing the Golden Dawn. The hermetic philosophy and Gnostic truths are dear to my soul, and govern my heart. I'm a wild Elf in the woods; a hammock-wielding, flute playing jungle rover in our temperate rainforest, and never cease to tire of a new tree to climb.
Being a sailor in the Navy will bring balance to my artsy nature, and I believe further my illumination in this world of knowledge. My philosophy degree will accentuate that along with my open-minded exhuberence for all things new and exciting. This is a beautiful world, and I'm a happy person. Though I'm a single-father, my Daughter khamiel is a light in my heart, and joy in my mind. I cannot wait to show her this world I'm constantly falling in love with. my whole world is being a good daddy, being someone Khamiel can look up to, be proud of, and enjoy spending time with, when she comes to visit or I go visit her (as she lives with her mother in Langley).
Thats about all I'm thinking and feeling at the moment. I'll post more later this month near my birthday on July 28th.
Thank you for reading.
