My Livejournal is such a joke!
Coucou! Bon, its been a while and since my year in France is coming to a close, I decided to write a short note to my livejournal fwiends. I remember writing my past entries and not being able to imagine the end to this lovely "voyage" I've made and now, in a week, it'll all be over. This doesn't mean that I'm coming home. Oh no! My maman is coming on Tuesday and on Thursday we'll be going off to Germany and hitting up Prague for 5 days before returning to Paris for a week with my grandmother, aunt and cousine. Phew. What a trip! And THEN, the 16th of june I'll be off to Spain. (NOTE TO SELF: Buy plane ticket!) And what's also really great is that I'll be seeing Catherine Rierson in Paris next week and Thad and his brother in Germany hopefully! Travis was supposed to come visit in Spain this summer but I'm guessing that that's no longer happening. Oh well. I don't suppose anyone else wants to meet up in Spain???
So to get back to the point which was....oh yes, how I'm flippin out cause IT'S THE END! And what sucks the most is that it's finally started getting really great. I've made quite a few friends, even if they are mostly non-frenchies, and I love my new host family! If this had happened at the beginning of the year, I would have had an infinitely better exchange. However, this was not the case. Oh well, it's been pretty great even through all the ups and downs.
Also, I'm eventually deleting my livejournal since I never write in it. But not quite yet. I will shamelessly be reading everyone's livejournal and not posting until I delete it this summer.

I've been watching Nouvelle Star over here (which is the French version of American Idol, which I never watched) and I <3 it. Seriously. The main reason is because of Julien. Julien plays the ukulele. He also is quite the cutie. Anyway, he sang this song called Moi, Lolita that was originally sung by a 16 year old girl and if you listen to the two back to back, its pretty strange cause her's is all 80s pop and his is pretty melancholic. (is that a word?? I cant remember anymore!) CHECK IT OUT!
