I'm home now. Here's for the million and a half people who are asking how it went Really. We didn't do any marching at all though. And no, I don't know how I stand compared to everyone else. They didn't tell us. Also, they didn't cut anyone either. I think they will the next camp. I haven't decided if i want to go back though since their whole style of playing is completely different than what what we're taught. Plus, after watching half of the cream team + vets for a while saturday night I decided that maybe this isn't really where I would like to march. It's just WAY different. Like, I don't know what it is, but while watching them, I kind of got the feeling that music was definitely not what they were most focused on. I think i just really like Murray Gusseck's/SCV's teaching style and I'm hooked on that. It's not that I don't like the way Crown Plays, because I really do, it's just hard to change your whole style of drumming that quickly. ">
So i'm kind of new to that whole "lj cut" thing. Alissa explained it to me and then I got to talking to her for a really long time. We had Symphonic Winds practice tonight with "proffessional coaches" (haha! a band coach!) It was alright. Now i'm just wasting time. I'm supposed to be doing my homework because i really need to but i'm in the "tomorrow's the last day before thanksgiving and i don't feel like doing anything anymore" mood. Anyway, I'm hungry and tired. Later.
