Hiiii! I wasn't sure where to ask, so please forgive me if this wasn't the right spot, but I was wondering if I could have access to your locked fics? :) TYSM in advance!
Also I have questions: 1. As far as D2 Victor culture goes, is there a taboo around dating someone who was mentored by your mentor? I can't think of any good examples but let's just say for some reason Devon had been mentored by Lyme or something, would that have put Misha in the "ew nope can't date her" category?
2. If it's even possible to choose, who is your favorite of your D2 OC's to write about? (My favorite to read was Claudius...I love that little disaster child so much. Misha and Emory are close seconds though. Emory was actually initially my favorite and then I got to Fixed to a Star.)
3. As someone pursuing a career in the medical field, I am SO curious: What types of medications do the Victors get during their recovery period? I remember mood stabilizers and sedatives being mentioned, I just can't remember if there were others.
(Sorry if you've already gotten any of these questions before! I feel like #2 is probably a pretty common one, haha.)
I love your writing SO MUCH and I'm so glad I stumbled on WMBK!! Thank you for sharing your work with the world. <3
1.) As much as they all joke about mentor-siblings, it's not necessarily a family-replacement structure and dating each other would be totally fine. Adessa tried valiantly to get another girl for Nero as soon as she realized he would be happier in a relationship, but only manages in one AU. Brutus and Frigga in the AU are also both mentored by Odin. In a way it's almost easier since the mentor knows them both so well.
2.) I REALLY CAN'T CHOOSE, it depends on what mood I'm in? Claudius and Alec are both really fun to write (they have such a great mix of emotions and they play off others in a very satisfying way), but so is Misha, and Callista, and Emory came out of nowhere once I started to develop her... and sometimes I get in the Creed Zone and nothing else will hit right.
3.) with a caveat that I am NOT a doctor, what I've generally written is that they get the Capitol equivalent of benzos for the first week or so (like, to get them through the initial parties and back home without killing someone) but those taper off once they're back in the Village. once they're home they tend to go on an SSRI/SNRI to help with the PTSD, so technically not what we classify as mood stabilizers but the kids don't know what SSRIs are and it's a shorthand, if that makes sense? someone like Petra probably actually got them though because, well. but they just tell the kids they all get the same thing.
