Corin & Ezra: Universe Primer
Summary: A group of friends navigate junior high, high school, and college, dealing with all the regular teen stuff -- plus magic. Contains sarcasm, mockery, gratuitous use of the sobriquet "Princess", adventure, murder, lies, and a bunch of other stuff.
Gay Meter: None at the beginning of the series, but more later. Less will be in the actual series than in the one-shots I do to get them out of my system.
Angst Meter: Mostly your usual teen drama stuff, but with a sharp spike at the end of book 3/beginning of book 4 due to plot-related events.
Weird Meter: High. It's urban... magic ... real ... something, I don't know. Modern-day Connecticut, but with magic. There are invisible creatures that suck the underside of your face, among other things.
Self-Indulgence Meter: Depends on how you define 'self-indulgence', I suppose. This series was written in order to deal with some things that bugged altis and me about existing YA magic series, so a lot of it is specifically because we didn't like Trope X in Book Y, but I don't think the story is in and of itself ridiculous.
