Downton Abbey
(Thomas)

Oooh… I hesitated with this one, because usually I don’t like to pick just one character, but I’d really love a story about Thomas in the war. I love him in all his selfish, vain, ambitious ways. But I would love to see him changing too, maybe improving in some ways. I think it’d be great as well for him to meet some of the others from Downton again. The boys I think would be fairly easy - William, Branson, Matthew, the Duke of Crowborough. It’d be awesome to see one or more of the girls too though - I could imagine Sybil or even Daisy going into nursing. If that doesn’t float your boat, though, I’d love just as much to see how the Abbey copes with the war and being stripped of all its young men and the girls taking control. Or I’d love to see how Matthew and Mary’s relationship develops, framed by the war. So yes - war, war, war. And Yuletide’s supposed to be jolly. ;)

Shakespeare - Romeo and Juliet
(Any)

This year I finally fell utterly in love with Romeo and Juliet, somehow I never quite got it before. I’ve seen multiple versions (including in Korean, though it’s the current RSC production that owns my heart - Tybalt was shagging Lady Montague, ridiculously perfect) and somewhere along the way I got obsessed with all the ‘what if’ possibilities. What if Juliet had confided about the marriage to Tybalt before the brawl? What if Romeo hadn’t killed Tybalt, but had the guilt eating away at him? What if Benvolio had taken the blame (and glory) for Tybalt’s death, leaving Romeo free? And my favourite, what if during the scuffle Romeo had died instead of Mecutio?  Somehow I can never see it ending happily, but I love imagining how it might unravel and I’d love you to explore one of those - or any other sort of what if. Also, because it isn’t always taken as given - just wanted to say I love Juliet a ridiculous amount (one of the most pro-active girls in Shakespeare, just saying :D)

Trinity (2009)
(Any)

I just got into this show after finding it in a bargain bin and watching the whole thing in a day and a half and I love it, in all its ridiculous grandiose ways. Utterly hooked, spinning from the cliffhangers… and then I find out it’s been cancelled. So tell me what happened next. Anything, what was the crazy sci-fi future? What happened to the Rosalinds? What happens with Jonty? What increasingly insane ways does Dorian try to win back Charlotte with his ridiculous analogies to Romeo and Juliet (I do not remember the part where Romeo kidnapped Juliet and locked her up). I will thankfully receive the littlest crumbs. I pretty much love all the characters, though the fools don’t do much for me.
