So... I went ahead and moved to formalities and removed all his pictures from my facebook/myspace albums, and declared myself single again.  I am hurt and angry...but at the same time somewhat calm.  I guess its because I saw it coming and the break-up was inevitable.  I do love him...but he was not for me.  Our differences were too much and

Maybe you can be friends one day. It just sounds like it's so clear to you that you don't want the same kind of relationship he does, that I think you're smart to walk away and forget about him for a while.
