Magnus had to be quick. Very quick, and taking her with him would slow him down.

But Magnus...what now?...

Didn't care.

He picked her up quickly, the same way he had the night before, and said nothing. He held on tight, and used his last bit of real energy to do his best to dodge most of the Lycans as he used his only weapon against him as of now: his speed.

But Magnus was circulating the Lycan blood through him, and before they were completely out of danger, he had to stop, and just run. Like a human. This annoyed him to no end, but that wasn't the matter right now. There were much more important things to deal with. He had to save her, and in doing so, he had to save himself.

And before he knew it, he had found his way to the door they had come in, splashed the remaining silver on the floor (so slipping and falling in it would definitely burn) and continued to run past the two werewolves he had mutilated.

He took one leap, just one leap, to safely clear a low rooftop, and from there began to hop the a couple more low roofs, holding Loraine as close as he could without choking her further. "Hold on, Lor."

He probably wasn't feeling much better than her, but he couldn't die this way. "Just hold on."

Finally, when they were miles from the encampment of Lycans, and Magnus had checked the area well, he sat down with a great sigh.

But he did not let Loraine go.

Coughing occaisionally while Magnus carried her away Loraine hid her eyes from the blurr around her. Even when he began to run she still hid her eyes.

So much didn't make sense to her. Why she was really brought there instead of just killed. The anger and rage in Magnus' eyes and the way he looked on Lor with such... care and worry, it only worried her, comforting but it worried her all the same.

Her arms stayed wrapped around Magnus, her head burried against his shoulder and neck. It wasn't until he sat down, the sigh escaping him did Lor look up.

"Are..." Coughing off to the side she tried to speak again. "...are you alright?" Lor could smell the blood on him, the coppery scent all too familiar but the feeling of warm blood trickling from the back of her head onto her neck was strange. She felt a bit dizzy, disoriented still from the multiple blows.

He shivered. "Ugh. If I could die, I'd be dead by now. Stupid Lycan blood. I might be freaking out a bit for the next couple of hours, so bare with me." Indeed, his skin had gotten much paler, and he looked as if he was cold, huddled up with her, shaking like he was. But even so, he managed to kiss her forehead and smirk a bit. "Nevermind about me. Don't worry. I'll be okay. It's just going to take a bit of time to get this blood out of my system. How about you?"

He looked at her, up and down, checking out her over all condition with care. He was too dazed, too out of it to care if he was being nice, or sweet, or sensitive. He was content with the fact that he could still see, hear, and sigh.

"Looks like the Lycans want you for a reason. Maybe you know too much. Maybe it's because you smelled like me this morning. I should have warned you about that...and I damn well hope you're glad I was around tonight."

Loraine smiled and nodded. Moving off of Magnus she pulled her coat off and used it as a slight blanket over him.

"Don't complain. Just take it. I'm not cold." Loraine wasn't lying until a cool enough breeze blew by and she surpessed a shiver.
With a gentle, no longer shaking hand, Lor began to wipe some of the blood from his face as kind eyes looked on him.

"Is there anything I can do? Anything at all... I mean I'd probably be dead or turned into... a lycan by now if it weren't for your jealous heroics." Smiling she coughed lightly.

Magnus was different now, at least in Loraine's eyes. He'd risked his life, pain and whatnot to help her. Even when he said he didn't care in the slightest what happened to her, that he cared only for his work and himself Magnus still put himself in harms way.

"You stupid, jealous, careless and rediculously poorly timed heroics." By now she'd wiped away the tears though she sniffled softly, covering it with a quick cough.

Magnus was going to complain, one way or the other, and through her coat he reached up and pulled her down to him, wrapping the coat around her as he did so, and setting her in his lap. "You can keep me warm, then. And it's cold out her for a..." he breathed in deep, and let out a slow, shaking breath. The effects where churning his stomach. "...for a human. And I'm not cold, just...just in pain." Lots. and Lots. of pain. Lycan blood could tear up a vampire, but he had taken that risk when he had non-hesitantly bitten into that werewolf with no regrets.

"And it wasn't all jealousy..." He had to laugh a bit at her wording. "They weren't that badly timed....okay, maybe they were. Yes, you'd be a Lycan. But trust me, I was about to bite you in there, but then I thought Dave might have the heart to kill you. He couldn't turn you if I had bitten you, and I didn't have to turn you myself, so we would have been on somewhat safe ground ...if I didn't think he was as heartless as most of those dogs." Yeah. He had stopped himself to save her.

He had taken the harder route, once again. It seemed she was changing him slightly.

Oh, great. I'm getting a weak spot.

He just held her there next to him as long as he could, before the pain had started making his eyes water. "Okay. I'm going to pass out around now. But when I wake up, I'll be fine. You'll be okay, right? Lycans can't get you up here."

Lor was about to ask if it would have been bad to be turned but she didn't think Magnus had the strength to argue with her.
Though she wish he did.

He had risked so much, and the idea of pain, pain that was within him slowly eating at his insides more painful then the bloody wounds on the surface bothered Lor. Sitting in his lap, her hands wraped around his neck and settled at the base of his hairline, running softly into his hair.

"I'll be fine and I'll be here when you wake up." His eyes had started to water so Loraine decided she woudln't watch.

Closing her own eyes she pressed her lips against his tenderly. The same lips that had been pressed against Dave's neck, still coppery in taste with that of lycan blood. But Lor didn't pull away as the kiss deepend slowly.

"That was a very loud thought," he said, referring to the one about it being bad if she had been turned, "And unfortunately, when thoughts are loud, I can hear them as if you spoke it. And look, I've always been a very honest creature. So I'll tell you. If he would have turned you, bitten you, I would have had to kill you. They turn all humans for a reason, and I can't let them try and dominate the city again. Last time they did, they almost killed off the whole of New York." A but overexaggerated, but true all the same.

He sniffed a bit. The pain seemed to be reciding without his uncontrolled nap. Good, he hadn't taken too much after all, but definitely enough. And he wiped his tears of pain on his arm. It looked like he was crying...and vampires don't cry.

More like they can't.

Magnus thought he had passed out when Lor kissed him, the flutter of surprise she had given him. His arms pulled her closer to him, and before he couldn't pull away anymore, he looked at her with an amused look and said, "What was that for?" Before going in to kiss her again. "On the other hand, I might stay awake for that."

"First, I didn't mean being turned into a lycan." Her eyes narrowed but only for a moment before she smiled.
"Second, I don't think I need a reason to kiss you but I have a few. Like the flowers, not getting me into trouble at the crime scene of course..."

Lor looked off in thought as she started coming up with little things that she believed was worth a kiss or two.
"...Carrying me out of there... coming after me in the first place... saving my life, though you took your sweet time on that didn't you?" Lor looked back to Magnus and she felt like her breath was taken. For just a moment as she looked into his eyes.

"Oh and third, you definately should stay awake." Once again connecting her lips sunk into his though this time they parted a bit, more passion then before.

He laughed when she kissed him and backed up a bit. "Whoah now. If I hadn't gone after you in the first place, I wouldn't be getting all of this attention now, and if I hadn't carried you out, same thing! And look, woman, you kept moving. And that place was huge and confusing. You're lucky Dave back there was a very stupid Lycan. He knew I was there but he still ran after you."

He did his best to avoid the first statement, but had to give her a vague answer anyways. "Yes...and no to being turned into a vampire."

He nuzzled her chin up again so his eyes where gazing into hers, a new light in them tonight. A new, more vibrant one.

And her eyes were driving him so crazy he had no choice but to lean back in, kiss her again, and be very careful of his fangs this time when his tongue found hers.

Loraine rolled her eyes.
"I didn't say I wanted to be a vampire, just think I'd prefer it over a lycan and as for me running around Why would I stay nicely put in one spot? By running I made him yell for me, which probably got your attention since you followed him. And it kept me safe from the biting mutts... so really I think I did the right thing back there and you're just being..."

Lor stopped and closed her mouth. His eyes seemed bright, different. Welcoming the kiss, Loraine's eye contact broke while she was still gazing into his eyes.

How rude. She thought, a grin touching her lips, but it faded quickly as his tongue met Lor's, her eyes closing from the night around them.

Definitely a woman. Have to keep proving their point.

Even if they were in a rooftop, even if they were probably still in danger since Lycans can smell vampires just as well and vampires can smell Lycans, Magnus smirked. This added excitment for him, more or less, and he got up slightly, pushing her over and off of him so she was in a laying position, and came to hover over her, one arm on each side of her, a small evil smile coming to his face. Supporting himself on one hand, he took his other hand and ran one finger from her neck down to her belly button, where it decided to swirl flirtatiously.

Deciding to be playful once again, his eyes still bright with whatever that look was, he edged his way down and kissed her bellybutton before creeping back up. "So, how much do you like me?"

Oh. He was so stupid tonight, the Lycan blood must've gotten to him.

Laughing at first when he lay her back against the roof top, Loraine grinned back at him playfully. Being ticklish didn't help either as his finger swirled at her belly button.

Inching up onto her elbo's Lor raised an eyebrow as she watched his lips touch the area. Lor bit down on her bottom lip to sniffle a giggle.

"Enough." Lor sat up more, her lips brushing past his and settling on his lower jaw, soft kissed making their way to his neck.

OOC: Hah, I see you on HL.

"Enough?" Magnus gave a pouty look to that answer. "Ha, ha."

There they were, still covered in blood (even though Magnus's wounds were healing quickly), messing around on a rooftop. If things weren't strange enough with the fact that it was a vampire and a human, you had to throw in that the vampire had just saved the human from a bunch of mutts. Interesting.

Magnus inhaled deeply when her lips touched his neck, and one of his hands went up her shirt instinctively. It was cold and delicate, but a bit warmer than the night they had first met - Lycan blood did that to a vampire.

Tempting. Very tempting. To take her that night, and not by the means of turning her.

"What does this 'enough' statement mean?"

OOC: ...I kind if just skipped out on 20 minutes of work, so I need to kinda head there now. Hopefully you can get around to cleaning your room. See ya tomorrow- we can continue this flirty sexfest (;)), or start something else. G'night!

OOC: Flirty sexfests are AWESOME! I'll try and clean my room, but I'll see ya tomorrow!!

Loraine exhaled quickly on his neck as his hand, still a tad bit cold, rested against her skin beneath Lor's shirt.

Pulling away slowly so her lips were now before his, she looked to Magnus.

"I like you enough-" Lor kissed his lips once and pulled back slightly.
"-to-" Finding them again her hand lifted up to the back of his neck pulling Magnus closer.
"-stay-" Leaning back onto the rooftop she pulled Magnus along with her until his body was lying above hers. She grinned and watched him carefully.
"-here-" Loraine paused and waited a moment, teasing almost, biting cheekishly on her ower lip.

"-with you." Bringing his lips into hers she parted her own to allow her tongue to strongly find his. Lor's other hand found his back and slid beneath his shirt.

He hadn't meant for his relationship with her to head to this, really. And he wasn't one much for sex or anything to do with it, and even less so when it meant nothing. But didn't this mean something? Strange for a vampire, but Magnus was nothing but strange.

Of course, he had told her once he wasn't ever going to spill his vampiric guts to her, and he meant it. "Well, that's helpful." Magnus purred as only a vampire could in response to her teasing before finding himself being brought down into a kiss he was more than willing to return.

It was too addicting, too lusty, too wonderous.

Oh, what the hell. He'd just consider this his reward for rescuing her and work out the details later. This was his last thought before his hands, soft for a vampire his age, crept up the front of her shirt delicately before letting his tongue swirl around hers, both unsure of what they were doing quite yet.

He was giving into the passion he had been declined over the years.

Normally her mind would be racing, searching for reason and responsibility in her actions but now it didn't seem to matter.

His soft hands against her skin sent a sensual shiver throughout her body. Letting herself go slightly Lor forgot her normally timid nature when it came to physical contact.

In fact she hated it. Never liked to be held, touched, anything of the sort but it didn't bother her around Magnus. In fact it felt amazing, stimulating and seemed to quicken her blood.

Lor's arms pulled him closer, if possible, lips locked as her body seemed arch up into his.
