SPRING BREAK AT LAST!!!!!
I have been enjoying this weekend more than I probably should have been. Yesterday, me and Danielle went to gas up my car for our trip to Chicago, and also to put more air in the tires. Now this was a new experience for me because I don't recall ever doing it in the three years that I have had my car. My grandpa either did it or my dad, I guess, but this was my first time putting air in the tires. And I felt like such an idiot because every time I checked the psi after putting air in, it was lower. Then, I found out that the pump I was trying to use was broken. So it wasn't my fault. After I finally got it, I went to put the gas in, relieved that I at least knew how to do that.
I'm also relieved that KU won their confeference championship and got a #1 seed in the NCAA tournament. It's a lot of pressure, and #1 seeds don't often win the tournament so that's a little unnerving, but I'm not going to look ahead. Take it one round at a time.
And now I need to pack. I'm heading off to Denver after Chicago on Tuesday, and I'm not sure what kind of clothes to pack. My sister (who I'm visiting) says that it's been pretty nice out there, but she says there's always a chance for the temp to drop and it to start snowing. So I guess I just have to be prepared for everything. I'm so ready for spring, though. I'm ready for t-shirts again.
So in just ONE day and about 12 hours, I will be with my sister and my two kitties for a week of relaxation. I so need this.
