Since my last post I have got a new job at UPS, wich is better than Tombleweed. Let us break it down and compare.
Tombleweed
averaging around 65 dollars per night
hours were 4-10:30 or 11pm
worked tuesdays, thursdays, saturdays ,and sundays, + either a monday or friday
30+ hours a week
no benefits
UPS (twilight)
$8.50 per hour, becomes $9.something after 90 days. +1500 dollars a semester ($3000 max per year)
hours are 5 - 8 till 10pm
work mon, tue, wed, thur, fri
20-25 hour per week
benefits
Now I am going to make less money but UPS offers that $3000 I can use for school. If it was not for this I would still be serving tables. The schedule is better because I work fewer hours and I get weekends off. The work is honestly equally hard, but in a different way.
