Your skills at blood wards would be appreciated - a holding cell must be erected that the Dark Lord cannot track his Mark inside. It would also be an opportunity to set up your mental defences, in case of... consequences.

Perhaps we might meet to make preparations?

I have, incidentally, contacted Draco - we have made tentative arrangements to meet on Thursday at eight o'clock. Will it be convenient for us to do this at the manor?

That will be convenient. I shall have to ask you to use the Summer House again though. The Manor is currently warded closed against all but Malfoys.

How much blood are you likely to require? And must it be human? We have any number of goats.

The Summer House will be more than adequate - I hope that you will not be offended if I move some of the more eyewateringly floral lively furniture to the side of the room, to minimise distractions.

I shall acquire sufficient blood to our needs. If you are willing, I will meet you tomorrow at the sidings ten miles North of Hogsmeade, and we can travel to the location from there.

I wish to place some vials in strategic locations around Hogwarts. You are the only one of us who can travel easily around the school, and your seniority in His circle should allow you to go where you please.

I presume this is vital - just how much trouble will this invite? Which is not to say I am refusing, I merely wish to plan ahead. Will He be able to detect the contents of the vials? Or ithers?

The vials are no more detectable than those I once provided for Bellatr I neglected to take with me when I left the school - there should be no signs that He can trace, providing that you conceal them well. Should one be discovered, there is no cause for anyone to suspect that they were not planted at some earlier point - the Dark Lord knows that we have breached his defences in the past, when Amelia Bones was rescued.

For now they just need to be put in place. When the time comes for them to be used, I imagine that He will have more pressing things on His mind than to enquire who was responsible.

I would very strongly advise against dropping any of them, though.

It would really depend on the vial. They are entirely sealed and packed in cork buffers, so there should be little chance of a mishap. I'll explain the coding system when we meet, but you might expect to experience any of the following symptoms: Panic, blindness, hallucinations, unexpected magnetism, splinching upon attempts to Apparate, disorientation, loss of consciousness, paralysis or extremely brittle bones.

If you'd prefer I asked someone else, I would quite understand.
