Rest
So, I am usually not a napper. I usually hate sleeping in the middle of the day because I feel groggy after I get back up. But today, I needed rest. I slept for 3 hours after my mom and stepdad left. I think I was a little overtired. I sat on the floor of our front room as they were getting ready to head back home and I just started crying. I don't know why I was crying. I was just crying. John sent me to bed and Onyx came and napped with me for a while.
It has been a busy few days. Work was busy on Thursday and then Friday we worked around the house. We got the nursery pretty much completed yesterday. My stepdad hung the blinds I had ordered for the nursery - dark wood blinds. They really darken the room when closed and that was exactly what I was hoping for. My sister is going to do a series of 5 paintings to hang on the wall... so she is going to do that while she is up visiting this week.
I got the pre-fold diapers I had ordered all washed up. John worked on completing the floors. He is actually finishing the last of it today. It is really starting to come together in here! I am getting excited now.
I spent some time out in our ragged yard today. I pulled some weeds, cleaned the grill and now I am filling the hot tub up. I figured the nieces might need somewhere to play while they are here:) John is going to have to get out and pull more weeds for me though. Some are as big as trees out there. Sigh. It is hard to find time to get everything done:)
