(no subject)
I am rather enjoying being on half term at the moment. Not having to get up at 6:30 has been wonderful.
This past weekend, James and I traveled up to York to visit his sister at uni. We had a great weekend, visiting York, walking round the city walls, watching films, being a student again, visiting York Dungeons and the Jorvik Centre, eating lots of food that we probably shouldn't have been eating, attending a Eurovision get together..... all in all, York is pretty nice. We have decided to visit it next year when Sally has a house for sure.
I really wanted to visit the Minster, but we decided that we'd spent far too much money already and that it would have to wait until our next visit!
Yesterday James and I went to see Indiana Jones and it was pretty damn good. I really enjoyed it...apart from the ending. That was pretty poo, but overall, definitely a good move bringing it back. And Harrison Ford is damn good for, what, 65?
And tonight I'm off to see Sex and the City with Di. Am looking forward to it muchly...the advert in the cinema yesterday made it look gooooooooooooood!! Whoop.
Just wish this damn weather would improve. Although the storm last night was pretty impressive. Especially from 11 floors up!!
