... the fact that I bought the fluffy white seat cushions was bad enough. The price, worse, at about 8 Euros per stuck, and the exchange nearing one and a half $ to the Euro. But I dove in, thinking comfy thoughts to top the wooden seats I have around my dining table, and tossed six of 'em in the cart at Ikea ... this was, oh, sometime back in January.
Now I cringe as I wash and bleach them twice and still see the schoco muffin, the Rorschach milk blots, gravy or skettis - you name it, it's stil there.
In my defense, once dried they will retain that newborn pillowy fluffiness, surfaces flannely soft and smells-good, and one day they will hold the indigo, rose or grassy green of a RIT box in a desperate attempt to camoflague those mementos of my eating and playing monkeys ...
