Typing
So!
I have decided that my new summer project is going to be learning to touch-type. According to some wossname on the interwebs, I can do 53 WPM with my index fingers, and 40 WPM typing properly. So I'm not starting from scratch, as it were. But it'd be dead useful, and also something to do with my time. As a part of this, I have now resolved that I am NOT allowed to index-finger-type on IRC, or on here, or anything similar. I am permitted to do so when writing blahblahficblahnotanovelblah because the immense frustration of not being able to keep up with my thoughts is not worth the practice it would give me.
Hee. I'm getting better already, and I've only been at it for an hour or so. Yay! Wish me luck, and get ready for LOTS OF TYPOS LOL.
(Amazingly, this actually isn't an excuse to talk crap on IRC all day, either. It could be used as one, though. Muahaha. Also it will be good for my pitiful self-discipline to actually start something and DO it, without someone ese cracking the whip, as it were.)
