No longer having fifteen icon spaces, I can't just put this in the avatar space anymore. ;_; Damn the lack of credit card.

So, yeah, this is taken from one of the Many Moments of Cool in A Better Tomorrow II. For those unfamiliar with these movies, Chow Yun-Fat plays a character in the first ABT named "Mark," who dies towards the end. This was the role that shot him to HK/International superstardom, and as such, they demanded to bring him back for the second film.

In a very, very clever move, the writers reach into that well of thought known as the "Plot Hole" and decide that Mark has a twin brother, Ken, who lives in New York and that Mark's best friends, who have known him for his lifetime, HAVE NEVER KNOWN ABOUT HIM. Granted, it doesn't really matter, since I don't think anyone's ever looked towards HK blood-brother operas as Paramounts of Plot Coherency. All that matters is that Chow Yun-Fat is back, and he's kicking ass and taking names. (His introductory scene in ABT II involves him forcing a plate of fried rice down a mafia "protector"'s throat at gunpoint, involving what is one of the timeless monologues of all time--anyone who knows me from forum posts or mailing lists from before 2002 has seen parts of this monologue in my sig.)

This icon is Ken putting on Mark's bullet-riddled trenchcoat before the final, insanely mook-ridden showdown at the end of the movie (the body count in this end scene ranges from "excessive" to "they must be coming from clown cars"), and belongs in one of the top 250 Coolest Moments in cinema.
