She's in a coma. Has been for months. No one has any idea when she's going to come out of it, if at all.

I only set the smoke alarm off with the garlic bread...and who decided to make those things so hard to turn off anyway? I was about ready to toss the thing out a window and let the neighbors deal with it.

We run a restaurant. If we didn't have a good fire alarm system we'd be in trouble.

... wait, just how did you set off the smoke alarm with garlic bread? That takes like... ten minutes to bake.
