Well, this week was a good one...nothing really too exciting
Work was work. Had a lot of leads and tours and contracts. My Director of Sales did my goals for the first quarter. Let's hope I can exceed them...so I can go to Aruba!!
Wednesday night was the girls first chapter meeting. It was at the house...so of course no was paying any attention. But there was some good information mentioned. Their first real chapter meeting is this Monday in the Student Center. I really want things to work out for them this semester! They just need to work and focus...After the meeting, I went over Delta Chi to hang out with Mike. It was better than the last couple times we have tried to hang out. I just thought since it was the New Year, we would try to start things off on a good note. I still feel like I am the one pushing the friendship, but I just really want it to work. I just wish that he would talk to me like he used to...share what's going on in his life. Be the one to initiate the first contact. I know its awkward because we did share such a big part of our lives together as a couple...but I just don't see why we can't be friends. We talked for a little while and then the girls came over for a mixer so I hung out downstairs for a little bit. Then I started to get weirded out because I am 24 standing in a fraternity house...so I bolted. I would have like to hang out with Mike a little more...but c'est la vie.
Friday night I went out on a date with this kid Rob. He is real cute...it was a double date with Stacy, he had brought his best friend, Andrew. We met them at the Mexican Post in Old City and then we finished the night at Buffalo Billiards. I didn't even have a lot to drink but I was definitely tipsy...probably because I was really tired and hungry. I didn't go to sleep on Thurs until like 3am and I worked from 8am to like 745pm. Friday was crazy...so by the time midnight rolled around, I was definitely in need of a bed! We stayed out until last call and than ran to my car, since it was below 2 degrees out. I think everyone had a good time. He wants to see me again, which is a nice thing. Erica is hosting a sex toy party at our place this sat and then people are coming over afterwards for Stacy's bday, so I think he might come to that. I hope things work out...I am just looking for something casual. Nothing too deep like Mike and I...I don't think I am ready for that yet. But then again, you never know. Everything happens for a reason, I am a firm believer in that philosophy...so I guess I will just see where it takes me!
Here is a little info on him: He is 27, works in the boro as a IT professional, lives in horsham (travels over an hour to get to work...CRAZY!), likes to snowboard, is a good dresser..lol, is a good conversationalist. He is about 5'9 ish...brown hair...blue/green eyes...cute face and nice bod.
After I woke up on Sat, I took Stacy back to her car at Chi Chi's at the deptford mall. It took me like 30-40 minutes to get there and back and I only live like 5 minutes! The roads weren't even that bad...just stupid drivers. I really wanted to visit my friend Markey in PA, but she wasn't picking up her phone, so I decided to drive to Manayunk to get snowed in with Tree, Shannon, Blau and Robby G. I had to pick up Blau on the way in center city since the trains decided not to run for a couple of hours. It wasn't bad at all...except for when I got in Manayunk...then I got stuck on one of the hills, but I was able to recover. We basically hung out the whole day, ate, drank, watched TV, played Taboo and 10 Questions and Answers, made dinner. I watched A Walk To Remember after everyone went to bed. I love that movie...very sad...I always cry when I watch it.
Today we went to the Manayunk Brew Pub to watch the Eagles game. There weren't as many people as I thought would be there, but it still was a good time. CONGRATS TO THE BIRDS!! First time to the superbowl since 1980...the year I was born! Blau wanted to go to another bar to watch the Pats vs the Steelers game, but we all went home instead. I took a little nap and then shoveled out my car to go home.
All in all the weekend was very good. Good times with new friends and old friends. That is the one thing I am nervous about moving to Cali...I won't be near my friends anymore. They have been my backbone these last 4 years of my life. I don't know what I would have done without them.
