I handed in my written up Masters project yesterday. All 10,000+ words of it. I wish I'd had more free reign on the word limit though as I had so much more I could have put in the results section - actually interesting, relevant stuff too, not just waffle. It's thanks to the little, teeny things I studied showing far more variance, many more species and lots more trends than even my supervisor had initially expected.
Granted, I'm back to data collection on it again, trying to fill in the sample gaps that my project had due to time limitations. I'm hoping to collect enough that I can do a proper write up and get it published in a journal paper (or papers considering the amount). I'm grateful, at least, that the uni is allowing me to use their equipment still even though my course (barring a final presentation) and supervisor are letting me use the uni's equipment still. High-powered microscopes and associated imaging equipment is expensive.
