Alright so this weekend was pretty crazy, flashback to the Demon and Loucifer show. Spent three days straight drinking non stop, Thursday I wrote about, Friday I went to see White Noise at midnight. Two things if you can go see that movie you should it was REALLY good, and second, scary movies at midnight are REALLY cool. Got out of the movie at 2:30 and decided it was time to go drinking (I love that you can say that out here).
We didn't know where to go, so we figured we would find a pool hall to go to. The one that we went to was underneath the Hard Rock Cafe, but it was closing at 3:00am and it didn't serve any alcohol. We were walking away and this group of guys and girls were like if you want to go drinking and dancing go around the side of the hard rock, and go take this elevator to the third floor. So, we go around and take this total service elevator up to the third floor, which opens on this back service entrance with tables and chairs all stacked and there is this door where you can here like some hardcore jungle music playing. We open the door and it is a scene out of Lost in Translation I swear. It ended up being just the top floor of the Hard Rock, and they use the service elevator so no one has to walk all the way through the restaurant but at first it looked really shady. Music was awesome, got to love Jungle! :D
While there there was this big Norwegian guy who was totally drunk and took his shirt off and tried to get Jimmy (Crystal's husband) to rub his belly, and then he saw me and tried to rub my belly and drag me out on the dance floor. He was there with this totally hot asian girl who kept stopping him from dragging me out on the dance floor and then giving me hugs to tell me she was sorry. So, I wasn't complaining. The club closed at 3:30 and we weren't done drinking yet so we headed over to Boat Quay (pronounced Boat Key), to go clubbing. Got to this little dive bar and had some more drinks. Played some pool and ended up talking to these three girls who were pretty cool. Got their numbers and hung out with them. Almost got into a fight with some Australians over pool rules (thank god that didn't happen), and then got home at 7:30am.
Passed out and slept all day, woke up at 5:30pm and felt like shit. Hung out for a bit, watched TV and was not planning on going out again, when Jon-jon (co-worker) called and wanted to go have some drinks. So, we go out to Chinatown to a Filipino hostess bar. I didn't know what this was, but apparently this is a bar where they have a bunch of REALLY hot girls who are paid to just drink with you. You buy their drinks and they just hang out at your table and drink and talk. If you are smooth then maybe you can go hang out afterwards and work your magic, but there is no special benefits involved. When we open a bar I think that we should do that. I mean it doesn't cost that much to have the girls there and you think you have hot girls and lots of guys will come in and spend money to drink with hot chicks who want to talk to you. Hung out there for like an hour and then headed over to Boat Quay again. Partied at a few clubs but the scene was pretty dead so we went to this club called Isomnia which apparently is an Ex-pat hang out. There were a lot of goofy looking white guys there who can't dance.
I realize why I feel so uncomfortable in clubs in the US. It is strange to think but when there are a lot of other white guys even if they can't dance I feel like there is competition or something. Most of the bars I have gone to have been all asian and I don't feel I have any problems there, but as soon as I was around a bunch of white guys I was very uncomfortable. Not sure what that means but it was rather strange. I ended up going out on the dance floor and this girl came up to me and started dancing with me. I didn't notice but I guess I had quite a following, we went outside to cool off for a while, and talk and found out her name was Bess and she was from the Phillipines. She said she was going to the University to be a computer programmer, but after a while of talking to her, the club closed and my friend went home. She was like alright so now what, and I said lets go somewhere else and party. She kept quizzing me and it finally came down to, and I quote, "If I go to this club, and eat and then go home with you, what will you give me?" I played dumb for a while to see if I could draw it out of her and sure as shit, she was "working" that night to make money for school. Yeah, right for school. So, the filipino girls are off the list too, I am sticking to Malaysian, or Chinese girls cause they seem to not be working girls. Anyways, that was a rough night and now it is time to rest up and get ready for work in the morning.
