Death
well after a very long weekend of work with one of the residents taking a very long time to die (a resident who i was very close to), he passed away at 8:25pm tonight. This was a big relief to his family. I had a bit of a cry a few times later in the evening. First time i have felt quite so affected by a patient's death.
Twas hard, but im glad in not cold to death yet. I have for a long time worried that if i ever lose someone close to me i might not feel grief properly after so many years of dealing with people dying.
