time to talk about nacstock...
so, for those of you who don't know...nacstock is coming in november. And for those of you who remember ten-acre jam and camp out jam out...this is for you. Basically it started because some friends wanted to have a party out in the woods and invite some bands and just have a good time. But it has gotten so much bigger than that...more people are excited about it and this definitely has potential to be my last big blow-out blast of an awesome time before i leave nacogdoches.

i'm really glad that good people are putting this together, more specifically because they aren't doing this to make a profit. they are putting all this time, effort and money into music and fun for everyone. tickets are $20, but you get a $3 pay-back for camping to keep people from drinking and driving. The bands are going to get great exposure and most of them are doing it for fun rather than being paid, which is more refreshing than anything else. And perhaps my favorite element of the whole thing is that all the proceeds are going to the make a wish foundation instead of in the organizer's pockets.
