something you should check out if you haven't already...

so i'm talking to this guy and he's a total nerd. which i find absolutely adorable. anyway, we watched like 3 hours of the TED conference, and this is some pretty interesting stuff. for those of you who may not know about this (and i totally didn't until i met brandon) it is a conference where the most intelligent minds around the world meet and talk about their ideas and inventions. Tons of different stuff is talked about and we mostly watched the technology stuff because thats what brandon is interested in, but i picked one about schools killing creativity.

at any rate, there are tons of different ideas being discussed and introduced at this conference and i find some of it really interesting. for instance, there is a guy who has created forests in a box through his research on mushrooms. all i'm saying is that if you've got some free time and are interested in where our great minds are taking us, this is a website to check out. i also realize i might be the last on this very cool bandwagon, but as a theatre gal i wasn't keen to google the TED conference, but most of them are talking about change and fueling creativity in a much more individual way.
