Whirlwind weekend.

I do wish Ben lived in the same town as I did... that way if I did have to work Saturdays for a co-worker, it wouldn't be like OH NOES ONLY ONE DAY TOGETHER!!!1! like it is now. :-P Worked yesterday, got a $10 bonus due to the morning being super busy, even though the afternoon was incredibly slow. The first appointment of the day was a couple bringing in their four cats -- one of which promptly scratched me right under my lip in an attempt to climb my head. So when my coworkers came back to see how the 4-cat room was going they saw me with blood dribbling down my chin. Hot. :-P We stayed on time pretty much the whole way through, though, and Ben picked me up at a perfectly reasonable time.

Our night back in Salem wasn't too exciting, but that wasn't a bad thing; we went out to Red Robin because a chicken Caesar wrap sounded fabulous to me, and we stopped at the liquor store for some goodies (banana and chocolate schnapps). We snuggled for a bit and had a few drinks, but I was so zonked from getting up early/working a full morning/having the flat tire debacle from the night before that my three and a half chocolate banana shots didn't do anything but make me sleepy. We only made it through one episode of Arrested Development before my eyes gave out on me, heh.

Today I had scary dreams (in one, I killed dozens and dozens of people, and was terrified that I would be caught and my freedoms taken away, they were closing my bank accounts and making it impossible for me to go anywhere, and the most horrifying thing was that I had killed all these people for no reason and now I only cared because I was getting caught) and Ben and I snuggled until noon. Then it was time for waffles and more Arrested Development, and then Ben made me do physics because he's a good boyfriend. :) And he helped me sort some things out. Then we watched even more Arrested Development. We did 10 eps in 1 day and made it onto the 2nd disk of Season 2. Go us. :) But too soon it was time for him to bring me back, and the weather was all crappy and the rain was doing that dreadful squally misty thing that really cuts down on visibility. However, we did have a good time conversing in the car, and got to do some e-mailing once he was back home. I love my boyfriend. <3 He really is the best Ben ever.

And that was my weekend, pretty much. I'm off to bed now for another 10-hour day... at least this one is booked for only 2 appointments so far. It'll probably fill in more in the morning, but for now... I'm kinda looking forward to the slowness. :-P

'night!
