Saturday LJ entries
Ok, so it's quite obvious that I've been neglecting the ol' LJ as of late. I figure there are several reasons for this:
One, I don't have as much free time now that I have a job (two actually) and am not in school anymore. With school, there was always homework and assignments to procrastinate from! LJ was a good distraction, heh.
Two, I now have a boyfriend and a cat to occupy a good chunk of my time. Before, when I used to write in my LJ frequently, I was single, lived alone and had no pets. Plus, I lived in a basement, where there was no sunlight, and I used the light of my computer to entertain me. :-P I had lots of time on my hands, which I no longer have...
Three, I spend a lot of time on the computer at both of my jobs so I just don't have a desire to sit down in front of my computer when I'm at home (especially when said computer is getting to be quite old and crappy), and type out a journal entry.
But all that being said, I sort of miss writing in this thing. So I've decided that Saturday is going to be "LJ day" for me...I'll try and devote some time on Saturdays to writing in my LJ. I will have to work every second Saturday, but it's generally a good day, since Kyle is usually at work and I have time to myself. So I vow to keep it up for as long as I can, heh.
I'll just give some quick updates:
-I have a new job at the Calder branch of EPL as a Community Librarian
-Luna survived her "operation" and is as feisty as ever
-Kyle and I went to Calgary/Canmore last weekend, and I got to see Elena for the first time since graduation!
-I've been reading the Twilight series and I actually like it!!
So I'll try to write more interesting things in future entries. I have a lot of "notes" from Facebook that I'd like to post on here. And pictures. So stay tuned!
